About Me
I am an academic researcher working at the intersection of Theoretical Robotics and Computer Systems, with a primary focus on aerial robotics and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
Currently, my work centers on State Estimation, Numerical Optimization, and Embedded Systems. I am highly interested in the co-design of algorithms and software to ensure computational efficiency and real-world applicability in autonomous systems.
You can find my complete academic history on my Lattes Curriculum.

🔬 Research Experience#
Master’s Researcher | EESC - USP
Aug 2026 – Present
Currently researching the safe operation and landing of omnidirectional drones on offshore platforms, such as FPSOs.
Funding: FAFQ.Visiting Researcher | Dragon Lab, University of Tokyo (Japan)
Nov 2025 – Feb 2026
International research internship working as part of Prof. Moju Zhao’s group. My research focused on landing quadrotors on quadruped robots and deploying omnidirectional drones on steep slopes.
Funding: FAFQ.Undergraduate Researcher | EESC - USP
Dec 2024 – Jul 2026
Developed strategies using Linear Model Predictive Control (MPC) for quadrotor landing on oscillating platforms under maritime conditions.
Funding: FAPESP (Grant 222615)
📝 Selected Publications#
- “Autonomous Landing of Omnidirectional Quadrotors on Steep Slopes in Simulation”
Accepted at the Brazilian Conference on Automatics (CBA), 2026.
Based on research conducted at the Dragon Lab (University of Tokyo).
🤝 Affiliations & Collaborations#
I am proudly affiliated with the Center for Robotics at USP (CRob), the umbrella organization for robotics research at USP São Carlos.
Under this scope, besides my main Master’s project, I am an active collaborator at the Aerotech Lab (PI: Prof. Glauco Augusto de Paula Caurin), contributing to various applied robotics and engineering initiatives.
